Antifake provides photo ownership verification features that allow users to verify their photos, run Person Checks on submitted photos, use Faceless Mode, and connect optional Trust Links that they provide and control.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following:
- Account information — authentication identifiers and basic data needed to create and maintain your account.
- Verification videos — videos you record when confirming ownership of your photos.
-
Images — photos you provide:
- to submit Faceless photos for review;
- to run Person Checks on submitted photos.
- Trust Links data — optional external accounts, usernames, links, email addresses, phone numbers, or websites that you choose to provide and control.
- Usage and technical data — app events, crash logs, device information, and diagnostics used to improve the service and fix errors.
2. How We Use Information
- to allow users to verify ownership of their own photos;
- to allow users to run Person Checks on submitted photos;
- to enable optional Trust Links provided by the user;
- to maintain security and prevent abuse;
- to improve performance, stability, and user experience.
3. Camera and Media Access
Some features require access to the camera or media files. Self Verification requires recording a short guided video.
All such actions are initiated by the user. The app does not access camera or media content without user interaction.
4. Face Data
Antifake may process photos, guided verification videos, and limited face-related technical data derived from user-submitted media, such as face position or landmark information needed for matching.
Face data is used only for photo ownership verification, Faceless photo review, and Person Check matching. It is not used for identity verification, advertising, tracking, or building profiles from public sources.
Guided verification videos are used internally for matching and are not shown to other users.
Face data is not sold or shared with third parties. Analytics and crash reporting providers may receive technical diagnostics, but not verification videos, photos, or face-derived matching data.
Face data is stored on Antifake servers and retained while needed to provide verification and check functionality, maintain verification records, handle reviews, prevent abuse, or comply with legal requirements. Users can delete their account and associated data directly in the app.
5. Trust Links and Public Sources
You may connect external accounts or identifiers as optional Trust Links. Trust Links are provided manually by you, controlled by you, and can be removed by you.
Antifake does not scrape, import, or collect information from public sources to build individual profiles.
6. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and AppsFlyer to analyze app usage, detect errors, and improve the service.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share verification videos, photos, or face-derived matching data with third parties for advertising, analytics, profiling, or public-data aggregation.
We may share data only in the following cases:
- with infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and support service providers that help us run the service;
- when required by law or to protect security and integrity of the service.
8. Data Security
We use encryption and other technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest.
9. Your Control
- You decide what data to provide and which features to use.
- You can choose whether to verify yourself.
- You can choose whether to run Person Checks on submitted photos.
- You can choose whether to add Trust Links.
- You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app.
- You can stop using the service at any time.
10. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app. Account deletion includes associated verification videos, submitted photos, face-derived matching data, Trust Links, and account identifiers, unless retention is required by law or needed to protect security and integrity of the service. If you have questions, you can contact us.
